Heaven smiles

In anticipation

Waiting to see your reciprocation.

The sky watches

with a clear glance

I know it wants

To see us dance.

Earth thirsts

To see us meet

It too waits

For a treat.

They all wait

For you to relent

The air’s filled

With a mysterious scent.

A smile at last

The suspense has passed

I grin with joy

Thinking ‘boy, oh, boy’…..
