I found

a thousand wishes

The voices in my head; they get too loud

and they all yelled; I couldn't hear a sound

I was sinking into something I didn't know

while they tried to convince me to let me go

I found light in the darkness

I found water in the desert heat

there was a feeling I told myself I couldn't beat

then I found me

There's nothing I couldn't do

I could make all my own dreams come true

I was falling

till I realized what I can do

I'm my own light in the darkness

I'm my water in the desert heat

I love me, Once I found me

I knew who I would be

so if the voices in my head

ever get too loud

if they all yell my name

but I can't hear a sound

if I drown

I can lift me up

when they tear me down

I say fuck em all

everyone around

cause it's me,

only me,

I found me
