Catch

Fay Slimm.

Catch.

Awe is a trait of personal worth.

Be amazed at beauty in fervour

 and praise nature's creative work.

Soul-food matters despite neglect.

Feed its roots with gratitude's depth

and catch self-gifts of wakening wealth.

Find a space where two worlds meet.

Glimpse vision's changing uniqueness

and learn to listen when wonder speaks.

I just love the way you have phrased this poem. How glorious to capture that feeling of awe, to be amazed at the wonders of life, the people who will always astound us, the depths we can find within our souls. It's a fav!

"when wonder speaks," had me in awe, and I listened. What a beautiful thought; to open our eyes, ears, and hearts to the beauty of Nature. I believe most folks do stand in awe of such beauty. Whether it be the sea, the sky, mountains, trees, flora, animals, all of this world's natural beauty most will stop and see. How many will do what it will take to save it is another story? A lovely poem , Fay - Phil A.
