Our Story

JayJayWolfTrix

I remember that morning, many moons ago

When I woke up in a daze, wondering whether it was true

Were you a dream, a figment of my imagination

Were you a ghost, a lover long lost

One thing was certain, I had to find you.

I remember that afternoon, many moons ago

When my phone buzzed,

unable to believe the message that came through

“Hi there, boy who refused to kiss me”, it began

An opportunity to meet again, it presented...

How to ensure that it was not lost, I wondered

To my aide, came two,

who helped ensure that we could meet the next day.

I remember that evening, many moons ago

When you spotted me, and asked me to come over

Was it you, really you, I dared not believe

I called you to me, and with that first kiss it was confirmed

The love of my life, I had found.

Through good times and bad, we endured

Through laughter and tears, my love for you grew stronger

Distance mattered little to what was emerging,

a love so epic, it moved hearts around the world.

On bent knee, I waxed lyrical as I proposed

SWAT, “so you did ask” you responded, before finally saying YES!!!

The paparazzi took their pictures, and then came the fireworks.

And in the blink of an eye, in the heart of the wine-lands, you glided gracefully down the aisle

Our union Blessed, we danced the night away.

It was the start, the very beginning

Each step we’ve taken since, our story reveals

A love that has endured, a love that has grown

Many moons have passed us by, and much have they seen

One thing is certain, through laughter and tears, I love you

This moment, and the next, till we are old and gray, and beyond

I love you, in ways beyond what I could ever hope to understand.
