The songs I write on the piano

maybeiwriteabit

I want to go back to the sky.

You clipped my wings when I was a butterfly.

Escapism through the words I write.

Everything else is controlled by what you like.

I wanted more from life.

You wanted a better wife.

Oh but now I cannot fly.

Though everyday I silently try.

I know what it feels like to be a shadow.

An echo of your booming voice, I know

I cant break your freezing wall of snow.

But there's rebellion in the songs I write on the piano.

Good writing )) that’s so sad .. nobody should be controlled . I guess we need to find a way to release our feelings if in such a place .
