Connected

Pamela Joan

Our fingers slip

Grasping for one another

Falling into each others hands,

Connected

Our arms fall

Begging to hold one another

Resting around us,

Connected

Our eyes search

Sending messages without words

Staring into one another,

Connected

Our bodies stand still

Wishing they could stay together

Perfectly molding into one another,

Connected

Our lips parting

Like magnets drawn to each other

Filling in the gap between us,

Connected

Our minds becoming one

Hoping for the moment to never end

Wanting time to stand still,

Connected

With our bodied wanting more,

And our minds wishing time would withhold itself

We stand connected

Glued,

Linked,

Attached to one another.

The connection physically

The connection mentally

The connection in out hearts

Bond us into one

We become one,

Connected forever
