The wishing well of severed heads

kitty the naughty poet

The vampire came in the dead of night

with teeth as sharp as knives.

carrying a young teenager on its back.

swooping through the valley of broken trees and

landing on the wishing well that stands tall

in the middle of a meadow.

where the pieces Queen lay broken

dressed in a white wedding dress.

as she mourns the death of her fiancé

his body found missing the head.

Her eyes ping open but not moving an inch

she watched as the body dropped limp into the vampires hands.

with immense strength it bit off the teenagers head.

then drank the blood as it squirted up from the teenagers neck.

throwing the severed head into the wishing well.

causing the Pisces Queen to gasp and twitch

moving the grass of the meadow with her foot.

In one gust of wind the vampire held her wrists.

but the pisces Queen still had some fight left in her

kicking its shin and biting its hand she

tasted its sweet blood on her tongue.

the vampire laughed cold and pulled her close

biting her flesh drawing blood as it licked

...You'll be a feisty one.... it whispered.

but she vowed there and then she would be

nothing like the monster who made her

if that was going to be the case.

before she passed out and woke up

laid out on the bed of the wishing well

overflowing the water with severed heads

next to the fiance she lost not so long ago.
