When we met!

When we two were brought together,
And both our paths made one
Individually we realised, 
Just what destiny had done

T'was as if we'd known each other, 
Many years before we met
That our love stopped pre-maturely, 
To be  fullfilled, even yet

We knew each other inwardly, 
Without telling one another
Already we were confidant's,  
Very best friends to each other

Our feelings for one another, 
And the way we both responded
To each others needs and wishes, 
Showed our mutual love was bonded

It surpassed our expectations, 
Then grew more and more each day
And to the keeper of our stars, 
That is a gift we can't repay

We'll honour what you gave us, 
And respect each others fears
Yes, and cherish one another, 
Throughout all the coming years !
