Fighting my Dreams

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

How many times you had a dream that felt so real?
Wake up thinking it actually happened, dunno how to feel
I keep having the same one, I'll tell you how it begun
Find myself outside, up the road and near the shop
A gang of people approach me, get near, slowly stop
They start to throw blows at me and I fight back
Punching them with my fists, I go on the attack
I've had multiple versions of this dream through my existence
I always feel righteous, on the side of good and tense
But also not out for blood just on the defence
Just maybe one day I will find what this means
Then again maybe not, aren't they just dreams?

nah some dreams are far too real
I don't mess with dreams or nightmares
just try to forget them as soon as I can..
