like dark hair falling to the bathroom floor tiles
blue squares, empty eyes
do you ever feel gone?
like a frail firefly moments before it loses its light
what is a soul without fire?
what is a fly without his flight?
do you ever feel gone?
swimming deeper in the ocean where the sun ceases to exist
and your lungs fill with darkness
as you search for some light
do you ever feel gone?
because I think I do
and I wonder every night
if it's only me who's still looking for you
