Butterflies

Blueledge

Whatever I say or do I think of you.

I've got butterflies in my tummy.

I know I shouldn't, of course it's wrong.

I'm so weak whilst your so strong.

But then I think of you all warm and yummy.

I have butterflies in my tummy.

Maybe these feelings will fade away

and I'll live to fight another day.

You must think I'm such a dummy

with butterflies in my tummy.

I expect it'll turn out that in the end

I'll be described as just a friend.

But then secretly when I think of you.

I hope that you have butterflies too.
