I've heard it said many times, old age is a gift not given to us all!
Yet the adventures I've been told over the last few days, could make you feel a different way.
In and out then out then in, the worse kind of roundabout you've ever been
More time on a bed or under surgical procedure, to never fully return back into lifes little pleasures
To reconfirm in my head the only gift is right now, to master and become the one that controls our fate
Turning the fear or hate into loves magic embrace, with no right or wrong each dancing our own way
Ready to pass on the baton but never rewind, slowly moving through the needle bewildered by the sands of time

'Turning the fear or hate
into loves magic embrace,
with no right or wrong
each dancing our own way'..
Brilliant!
(hope you feel better, soon
stay Strong, my friend)
I actually got told I'm going hom today, still more tests to do but can't wait for my own bedroom!
As ever your vibration is valued and appreciated
If I understand you right Dan, here's my feelings on the subject of old age:
While it is true that being old requires a higher level of body maintenance than earlier, there are still plenty of periods when "the gift is right now" and I enjoy them without reservation - I'm not striving for anything, I'm there. I worry no more what people think of me, I'm happy and content to have had a varied and interesting life.
So stay the course - you will enjoy it when you arrive, I guarantee.
Boom.... thank you so much.
To read your words and the look up and a dog is winks...perfection, flattering interpretation. Brilliant
I truly wish you all the best for a healthy outcome and recovery. There is also the quote "Youth is wasted on the young", the Yin and the Yang of life perhaps. Take care my friend, and always dance your own way.
