the secrets in hearts longed for the door,
the door to the light of every fires we built,
she had a sacred fire which burnt my rage and pain,
she asked me to flay my heart exposing her to the chaos,
i believed not the divinity of caressed wounds
but they made the most beautiful scars,
i would sail through seven seas just to feel her warmth
for it felt like i belonged there even before the atoms lived,
and when we lay, skin to skin, breathing
my soul sees something my mind cannot,
her thousand bruises waiting to be kissed!
