Beats From Eavesdropping Street

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

I like seeing

Memorable scenes

On my walk

That's if I am to confess

My sins

Being no journalist

I like overhearing

Leading conversations

On my walk

Not being a detective

This is a crime

Committed like a game

Brain

Is a complex machine

Processing multiple information

From facial expressions

Gestural impressions

Imagination becoming clear

The music is loud

The message deep

It spreads around

  • Comment from author about the poem: I was thinking of coming up with a poem that could reflect on my 50 poems with love and heart break theme and beats from eavesdropping street came into my head...it is about the conversation I gathered from different people I overheard and that I turned into those 50 poems

    ok, i'll just assume
you'll be sharing those fifty poems
    in the days to come
and this is merely your prologue
    introduction, helping
    to set the 'scene'..
    lol
    thanks for sharing
    (I champion your profession)
