The Light

unbeknownst.to

"I can finally See
The LIGHT
at the end of the Tunnel!"

Then hands big as the Sky,
Hands around my face,
Firmly but ever so gently,

Gently, A voice said
"Ahhh no my dear,
Can you not see?
That you ARE THE LIGHT
in the Tunnel."

"Well I suppose if I were,
It would not be possible
to see my own LIGHT,
but only what it may illuminate.
I suppose I would not be able
to see myself,
Only that which lies ahead"

Kissing my forehead,
The voice smiled,
and proposed an idea.

"How about this,
I will hold up a mirror
for you, my darling."
