the jealous guy

siranswerer

the heads that turned to stare,
agreed, gorgeous you
was the most beautiful there.
you and friends sat with us,
the smile at me
was a plus.
we exchanged numbers,
my friends emerald with envy.
then he arrived,
with good looks and charm.
your beam turned to him,
and him disarmed.
I sighed inwardly,
good fortune lost.
got up to leave, smiling sadly.
but then, oh then.
you asked where I was going,
and would I message you.
stunned I nodded, and ran away.
I couldn't wait,
and messaged the next day.
we agreed to meet,
and go on a date.
we laughed and discussed,
family and friends, careers and food,
and ended the night, in bed with lust.

here I am, 5 days later
wondering where she is,
how i await her.
is she with him?! I wont deny.
Neither has messaged, but I'm still,
the jealous guy
