The Moth

Jerry Wayne Lawrence

Month Of Ridiculous Heat, July. I Sit N My Kitchen Enjoying My 2nd Cup Of Coffee.

Early Morning Natural Music, Outside Particularly, Keeps Me @ My Usual Mellow.

Window, I'm Kinda Staring @, Is Open. I'm Waiting On A Very Good Summer Breeze.

Sneeze & Bless Myself. Yeah, That Ol' Corona Virus Is Still Going Around.

Sound After Sound Of The Busy 'Hood Making Me Wonder: What The Heck Is Up With This Thursday?

Hey, I Say, 2 The Big Ol' Moth That Just Flew N My Window.

No, I Ain't Worried About It. My Country Cousin Taught Me All About Them When We Were Younger.

Closer Then Farther, The Moth Flies N My Direction, Until It Lands On My Coffee Cup After I've Had The Last Drop. I Laugh.

Stiff 40 Something Knees Start Sending Me Elsewhere 2 Find The "Icy Hot" I Know I Got Somewhere.

Stare @ My Pretty Company 4 Another Moment Before I Leave. I Laugh Again. I'm Leaving The Kitchen Smiling & Shaking My Head @ The Moth.

    A day in the life.
It sounds like you have found peace - at least for one Thursday in July.

Nice thoughts, thanks for sharing. Wishing you the best (and maybe another fine cup of coffee) today.
