- Comment from author about the poem: Yet again a personal one, after 3 years of school together we're starting new ones, my friend moved away and she keeps on ignoring me. I keep telling myself that she's nothing to me, it works for a while but then she sends a reply to the message i sent 3 days ago and i start wanting to be with her again. we usually watch this tournament together every month, but today she didn't answer my message. i saw she was online for at least 2 hours. i went to answer a snap i got and shed posted a snap to her story, turns out she was calling someone else.

Being 'ghosted' and being 'canceled,' those are things that are tough even to contemplate. They are modern terms for the age old feeling of rejection after being rejected. Thinking on tomorrow's hope.
