Chains of Tax

The greatest myth; even televised.
Decades later, still not recognised!
It was famously crafted in a clever phrase,
One in which I will now paraphrase.
We must refrain from spending at all,
Unless of course we can tax you more!

But don't be fooled, this is sooo not true!
They've been lying to us, and I'll show it to you!
They NEED TO spend BEFORE they can tax,
Please listen, my friend, we've been hit with attacks!

Our taxes mean nothing, in fact they're deleted,
Like the points in a game, when a team is defeated!
A tax is crucial like a rule of law,
As a coercive way to unite us all!

Another purpose is they help with inflation,
From excess currency that was a result of creation!
But trust me, you'd know, because your savings would be high,
And your debts non existent, for you could afford to buy!

A sovereign country creates its own currency,
So why must you sacrifice and not live abundantly?
The governments can fund each state itself,
Why they do not...? You should question yourself!!

More tax means less pay that leaves us stressed out and burning,
Forcing us to take debt, and pay interest for their earnings!
These chains of tax are the new forms of slavery,
Let's learn, and fight back for together we can braverly!

They've convinced us all that we must sacrifice,
While they themselves do not pay the price!
They love to say that money's not on trees,
An inside joke, while they up the fees!
