Fishing

Jerry Reynolds

Hot summer day
Skillfully the predator
Prepares hooks and lines
Bass in the bay
From habitat snatched
Cleaned spiced and baked
Dinner served on china plates
With glasses of white wine

O secpmd Dusk - just to read of baked bass makes my mouth water - - we used to dig lugworms on our local beach to catch bass and stay out til dark lines cast to see who caught one first. I love the image you chose too Jerry

Thanks, Fay. Inspired by a poem you wrote. Just wrote it from the predator's point of view.
