Is It For Real

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

Is this game

A real play?

Or some childish fray

(A frolic game)

Warm bodies

Rocking high

With smooth music

Only a loud cry

Moaning

Groaning

Pleads

Unusual breaths

But I wanted something permanent

That can forever last

Like the shinning sun ...

Yet you are just smiling

Should I take your smile

For a loud yes!

Or your silence

Your rebuffed pile

Should this warmth

End like a play?

Cause in replay

It shall haunt for its unquenched truth

Very poetic and filled with life experiences, very good.

    yeah, in the club
    our innocent attraction
    is warped into something predatory
    and the smiles we think
    we glimpse, at second glance
has a clownish taint to it..
    which is why
    dancing in daylight, and approaching
    under the transparent sunshine
is the best way to go
    if the feeling, is sincere...
    lol
    but what do I know!
    a thought provoking read
    thanks for sharing, dear poet
