BUDDING FRIENDSHIP

Manny Jordan

BUDDING FRIENDSHIP Going through life We always strife To find true friends Who will stick with us through life's menacing bends You've shown me what true friendship is A seemingly perfect relationship bliss You've shown the audacity to be caring The rare quality of being understanding In this past few weeks i have gotten to know you I can proudly say i don't regret knowing you Is it the open-handed genorousity Or the meek humility I just want to take this time out To appreciate you, i ain't chasing clout Roses have thorns But it doesn't stop it from being the peak of attraction Lillies are stuck in the mire But we gladly admire Just like in every 100 bad person There's one good person You're that one good person.
