Alas! Darkness is come
And the illuminating light does depart
The day makes way for the dark night
The darkness dims the evening's sunlight
In my arms, let me hold you tight
While on the bed we lay upright
Though the night dims our eyesight
But your beautiful eyes does shine bright
Brightening the darkness
So in slumber so unconcious
Your tender glowing skin i caress
As we wait patiently in sleep for the morning's light
To you my lovely lover, Good night.
