wren

An easy golden silence

Orange zest, vanilla bean and summer rain

And all those little perfect things I never could explain

Salty ocean air drifts over a glimmering cerulean sea

I cannot fathom how you hold such stars within your hands, such stars behind your eyes

A boy crafted from sunlit strands and toothy grins, from sun-spackled laughter, from love songs crooning static serenades over the radio as raindrops patter on the pavement

This poem doesn’t do you justice

Some great images. Your phrasings are unique and colorful. I like how your words seem to flow. A very interesting read and a lucky boy. - Phil A.
