Black hole

kitty the naughty poet

Your eyes are open but you don't see

as the lights go out and the sun goes down

the black hole that opens around my feet

failing to witness the dark aura enimating from my weighted body

falling through emptiness

trying to grasp the pretty items as they turn to smoke

my essence

boxed in a damp room full of depression and sorrow.

Your ears are clear but you don't listen

to the screams from the demons clawing at my flesh from within

not hearing the water as it drips from my eyes in protest

the sound of feet landing on distraction words like branches of a tree

only just holding my body weight

before breaking in the breeze

locked in a soundproof room with no way to escape
