randa yosry

The breath of the wood entices senses,
the mystic, resinous odour of pine needles,
blending with the perfume of the delicate
braids of untamed grapes.
~♡~
Wealthy hills jeweled with creeping phlox
fill the air with a heavenly scent that
rivaled lilacs, the smiling silk creek ushering
in those magical floating memories.
~♡~
The blanket sun peering over
through a blue visible sky, circling
her head like a golden crown.
~♡~
The shades of the bright costumes
of trees, with fleshy leaves wave
softly in the breeze, dancing a slow waltz.
~♡~
Standing in stark contrast against
the showy wildflowers sprinkling
the wood's carpet, shaped and colored
by a skillful artist, wakened after
a tough winter to welcome
the approaching summer season.
~♡~
The fiery pathos of passion spills
gracefully, pulse beat a hundred to
the minute, murmuring ethereal songs
and beckoning a new taste of life.
