Dust And Cobwebs

The Depressed 1

I sit in a dark corner of my mind

Leave the world and everyone in it behind

Think thoughts that I know I can never tell

Have counted each of my teardrops that have fell

Dust and cobwebs have replaced your memory

Your memories are no longer a part of me

Carry around my pain like a mule in heat

For my past indiscretions I keep getting beat

I hear dreams for some do come true

Not the dreams that I had for me and you

I will sit here for as long as I can

Until they take me away to reality land
