She Is A Patient Woman

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

She still find a reason

To come and see your face

She might be still in prison

Because you still keep her outside your fence

She comes everyday hoping for a breakthrough

She would have stayed

Had she found another fair half

She comes anyway hoping your heart would be moved

She comes everyday

Yet she is still going the same

She had never cursed her day

For tomorrow will still come

Yes she is a patient woman

Still waiting when you never gave her hope

What tomorrow bring forth is unclear you might be her man

Hence she is still waiting with hope

    (unrequited love, takes immense patience
to transmute into a realised, requited
    relationship;
and the lady's, those true strong ones
    do it time-n-again)
    while most, weak-willed men
simply jump from flavour to flavour
trying to escape the truth of their heart's
    (a great read, so relatable
    thanks for sharing)
