Lost in Alzheimer's

Shavon Harrington

how can you face

up to existence

when rememberance

 is lost in quietude?

revoked by dignity

 shattered in a empty

shell life swiftly

obliterated itself

challenging by time.

when do we

instantaneously

find the time to make

preparation in

ourselves for lost?

we don't,we

find a way

to except

the lost of

recollection.

we pray we

absorb the pain

as we slowly

grow dim

to life

acceptance.

A pithy commentary on the concept of fading away from yourself... we pray we absorb the pain... yes indeed.
