Oblivion

Oblivion

The greatest threat to history
Is Oblivion
The greatest threat to culture again
Is Oblivion
I wonder, Can we say art is art without
Appreciation?
Can we also accept that the earth is spherical
Just because the elementary teacher enforced it?
But also should art be authenticated by appreciation
For it to be acknowledged?

But What exactly is the extent of our
Forgetfulness?
Is Forgetting about someone or something
Technically parallel to discrediting it?
Or is forgetting simply like rubbing off an
Inscription or memory?
Are all momories and inscriptions impactful
So that they deserve remembrance?

Life happens to be the main sorce of memories;
Good or bad
Life also is also threatened by Oblivion
Should you be afraid of death because you
Won't be remembered?
Aren't eulogies hypocritical?
Arent eulogies hypocritical?
Why should anybody feel the need to praise someone
Even if they do not deserve it?
Why is death a detested topic?
And why is there the need to euphemize death?
Is it because of the potential Oblivion characteristic of death?

However, this is not a poem of death
But Life.
How much good can you do to be termed
''good''? or remembrance worthy?
Literally everything you decide each day
Shapes your destiny.
The goal rather is not to be remembered but rather
To make good memories which you will remember
For a lifetime.
Appreciate the good in yourself And let it nature
Your whole being
And hence remembrance comes as a by-product
Goodbye Oblivion
