Closed Eyes

Scyld

As I sat in an empty room where all my thoughts were screaming, I closed my eyes.

As I closed my eyes, I could clearly see your face where your eyes could heal the pain in my soul and your smile could lift my emotions from the world full of sorrow.

The memories of our past are so perfect that I am afraid to burrow them at the bottom of my chaotic thoughts.

Oh dear, I know that our souls will meet someday in a world where we will not feel any pain and our hearts will never be separated again. It might take weeks, months, years or even eternity.

But until that day comes, I'll keep my eyes closed.
