Now

Eugene

Now is part of an event

Today is the event.

As a slice of bread

Is part of the loaf

Now is one crumb

Hardly digestible.

Now is the speed of light

Now, is gone

Yet it is future

Did it happen?

Does now exist

In finite time.

Now you know

Is a compass point

A beginning of an event

A plot on a graph

Repeating: now, now, now,

Or is it done, done, done?

Or let it be done?

There is no next in now

Now is an unfolding

Movement in the constant,

      Time

That does not stop

Seeking alignment

Pursuing the path.

The compass point,

On this our journey

My journey, your journey

To find the absolute,

      ‘Truth’.
