-I wept-

dean langmuir

I wept today

for a passion

of an existence

that was burdened

then set free

It wasn't I that cried

It was freedom

    (that cathartic release;
    where we commune or empathise
so strongly, we loose a part of ourselves
to that moment or to that
    which impacted us so strongly
and it may take us a lifetime, to recognise
    what part of us, needed
such repressed feeling's, to be expressed
    but, still
as the raindrops nurture life in our world
    so do our tears, nurture
    growth
    within us...)
just such a succinct and powerful read
    thanks for sharing, dear poet
