Dear Sharon, I know you miss your mum
Just like you have more unanswered questions than answers
When you're alone in solitary, you often sit silently, soberly and wonder
Why you never had a mother or felt a mother's love
Why you feel so lonely even when you're not alone,
But it seems you're having an alone time in the midst of a crowd
Why you can't blend in with the kids in the 'hood
Cause of the ridicule you face from neighbours in the neighbourhood.
I know you're scared, mummy isn't here, wipe your tears
Daddy is here even in your painful prayers and frightening nightmares
