Her

Secret Writer

She takes the stage,
The mood is somber,
The weather emulates it,
She dries her eyes as she starts to speak
Lies she tells them,
Qualities she made up , she spews
Maybe this is what she wanted,
What she wanted her to be
Why does she lie then?
What does she have to do this?
Isn't the pretense hard to keep?
Seems like she has forgotten
Forgotten the tears
Forgotten the hate she spewed to her
The anger, self-hate she brewed
Now that she has sunk deeper into the darkness
And the dark abyss has swallowed her,
May no one shed a single tear
She goes under, a smile on her face
No one deserved her
No one deserved me
