Regrets

Jal

Silence those thoughts
Alone on your bed
What's done is done
Sleep, rest your head

You can't change the past
Regret burning your mind
They're gone, no turning back
Hope peace you'll find

Friendship gone, it's your fault
Broken promises, never forget
You only followed your heart
Fatigues all that's left

Shed those dry tears
Gone a lovely story
They're gone, so far away
And you're terribly sorry

  • Comment from author about the poem: If by some off chance you stumble upon this poem, I want to let you know I am sorry. I should've spoken at the time and I should've been honest about my feelings. I miss our friendship, truly. Every dumb private message, every time we fooled around with WP on voice chat in the Club, I miss it all. I allowed emotions to cloud my decision, and upon retrospect I wish I could've done things a whole lot more differently. Whatever it would've taken. I'm so sorry.
