FLIGHT

markmonteiro

Sailing in the sky is one that captures the eye,

As I drifted up the loafy mountain filled with trees, opened the window watched the scene so blissfully,

I packed my gear, ready for what's coming maybe fear?

For at last, I stopped on top of the earth, I stood there and watched the world pass by.

I put on something a little strange, it had a chute attached to a chain.

I started moving faster and faster, see the world pass by me, for I jumped

And the world stopped.

My eyes closed, my hair shriveled . For I

was trembling didn't know what was before me.

I felt the wind gaze through my face and my legs floating. I gave it a second thought and opened my eyes wide about.

For one could not think what was below me the world shinning blissfully.

As I stared and stared so did the world back at me I could move through the clouds wherever I wanted for I was free.

I gushed towards the ground , my chute all around. It felt like a dream, that none has seen.

Alas, will I do this again I hoped

It was a feeling I had scoped.

    such a wonderfully vivid, read
    I feel cowardly
in my assurance, that reliving such adventurous
    experiences
    while reading about them
    is the, erm
    safe way to go
and for affording me that opportunity
    I thank you! sincerely
    lol
