Unrequited love
It is a story constantly told throughout our daily lives. When one is going forward and the other counterclockwise.Push and pull,left and right.It is a song without a melody,it is hope without reason. It is pain.
It is a game that is destined to fail and it is a game I refuse to play.
It is like a rose.
From afar it is beautiful and sweet.It’s fragrant smell dances through the air,singing a sweet tune in your ears,but once you to try to touch it,reach for it,it pricks you.
it’s thorns spread out and prick you.
the very same thorns you tried your hardest to ignore.and as the blood trickles down from your fingertips,there’s nothing you can do but laugh.
Laugh at yourself.Because no matter how painful it becomes,no matter how deciving this rose can be,u still grasp it tightly.As if the world is about to fall and it is the only thing that can save us all.The only thing that can keep you sane,even if all it does is bring you pain.
But.No matter how much pain it brings,you can never stop. Because this love,this unrequited love.
Was sweet and kind .
It made you blush,it made you laugh and it made you cry.It was the type of love that made your heart race.The type of love that kept you awake at night.The type of love that made you dress up,look nice and be the better version of yourself all would like.
in the hopes that one day that rose would turn to you,and just like it needed the sun,it would need you too.
It is a game that is destined to fail and it is a game I had refused to play.But unknowingly it seems I have been caught in the web,of this ridiculous love affair.
But how could I not?
you were so sweet, so kind,so gentle. so full of life
Your smile made me wish upon the stars that you’d never cry. All i wanted to do was to make you mine.But in the end this is an unrequited love that shall live till the end of time. For there are some things that just cannot happen.
So unfortunately,my love,I failed to make you mine.
