like threatening war, over water
that's fed, generations
of your most peaceful, neighbour..
(but, if we don't
at such a young age, learn
to look away, at all the ugly
around us
I doubt, half of us
'the empathetic, half'
could make it to adulthood;
its just, once
we make it to adulthood
we soon, make-up
a portion of the ugly, we still
so adamantly
refuse to acknowledge, just
so we can survive
a life, we
in actuality, hate
such is that conflicting, duality
in all-things, fallible humanity)
thanks for sharing
such an intriguing write
although i fear, I read your poem
a little - too, personally
forgive me..

Clever! …… and baffling!
