TUG-OF-WAR

MDStone

Tug-Of-War

This time there are no teams

It’s just me against the enemy it seems

There are knots tied in the hope

And a loop at the end that’s dope

So I wrap in tight and hunker down

The enemy is tugging without a sound

I feel myself being drug along

The music fades with the words of the song

But a voice inside whispers, “Not who you are.”

“To be defeated in this, Tug Of War”

Suddenly the volume rises with words of praise

I feel the rage inside me beginning to raise

Tapping into the supernatural power inside me

I have what it takes to defeat the enemy

So, with determined effort I pull the other way

And declare in Jesus Name, “No Devil, not today!”
