I do not wonder why

Kana

I do not wonder why

there are candles lit beside my bed or why the warmth of nostalgic ambience is back

seeping through my cracks, and healing my spine

For fairy’s dance upon my head

I lay here

Under the coziest blanket I ever did thread

No incentive to walk on my own spirit

No I’m here enjoying my own presence

I could wonder what’s gonna happen next

No.

I can’t. I’ll ruin myself just right then..

So I lay here comfortably

My mind is finally feeling its long needed rest

in the midst of a cozy winter night

When I wake

The candles are still lit.

The ambience stays fit

              I do not wonder why.
