Dear Fairy girl

sarahanne

Dear fairy girl who likes to wander

What is it like to live in your world?

What keeps you going with your mind like no other

Who are you really dear pixie girl

My dearest friend

Oh fairy lover I wish I could help you live through those days

Dear pixie girl with your heart full of wonder

We used to dance in a childhood haze

The sun and the clouds, the trees in the breeze

I miss those times we would sit with our knees

All stained with grass and curls flying free

Dear fairy girl come back to me

These days are hard it’s an effort to breathe

Oh pixie girl come back to me.

The trees seem taller in fairy land

Our time was spent just holding hands

And talking through our childhood woes and walking past daisies, dirt under our toes

Those little things now seem so small

Dear fairy girl from right next door

It looks so close but feels so far

The days roll by along with the cars that never stop on the busiest streets

But in fairy land you’ll find your peace

The sun and clouds, the trees in the breeze

I miss those days we spent with our knees all stained by grass and curls flying free

Dear fairy girl come back to me

These days are hard it’s an effort to breathe

Dear pixie girl come back to me

My oldest friend dear fairy girl

I’ll never leave your side

Yes life will change us and bend us not break us

But together we will survive

It’s been a while with some time still to go

But there we can be free

So take my hand dear pixie girl

It’s fairy land for me

Come meet me in fairy land

Where pixie girls are free

So come with me to fairy land where pixie girls can breathe

The sun and clouds the trees in the breeze

The days we spent sitting on our knees all stained with grass our curls flying free

Dear fairy girl come back to me

Dear pixie girl I’ll help you breathe.
