Convince Me

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

Convince me to like you

Can you do anything funny?

I like crazy friends

But don't mean much wild

Convince me to trust you

Trust is never given but hardly earned

Through step by step in -build up

That's when convincing truth comes in

Convince me to feel something

That can leave everlasting impression

Like a scar of sweet memories

That can bring smiles and joy to my heart

Convince me to love you

Why should I love you?

Beauty is vain you should know

What else can you show?

Convince me to adore you

My heart cannot be moved for nothing

My heart cannot merely appreciate something

There must be some pulling force

Convince yourself you really want this person in your life or walk away.

Hey, I'm not persona of most of my poems...I mostly use imaginations blended from scenes captured around me...and mostly they are humorous, like word illustrations sort of! I guess no offense there
