Setting Inferno

C.J. Dragon

"I felt the charge within the breeze

An electric pulse sent through

As reminder of the steel gaze to freeze

Any mortal in their tracks as time drew

Near the second of awakening

The hour of our dawning

I heard the scarlet call

Of the blazing aura which brimmed

The crown heaven adorned to fall

Unto earth and to purge the begrimed

Crystal ball of sight

Heavenly sphere of light

I sensed the crimson maw

Open and shut to taunt

The weary wanderer who would caw

At the sight of the blinding haunt

The verdant emerald set ablaze

Left an ashen fortress in the haze

I could taste the bleeding sky

An emboldened and molten heart

Pierced by the tyranny of the moon's lie

Come forth, afore He departs

Within the sea; a whirling tornado

Within the Eye; Setting Inferno."
