Screaming Soul

Jessi

When your soul is crying,

And you feel like dying.

When you want to go,

But your feet won't move.

When your heart is aching,

And you're just breaking.

When everything turns dark,

Within minutes eating the only spark.

When the light seems far, so you can't reach.

When you search escapes,

But none are here.

While feeling lost,

You loose control.

Lying there,

You just see flames.

Flames that flicker softly,

And touch your unburned body.

When the world looses its magical spark,

The will of life is sinking deep.

There's no way out,

There's no escape.

There's walls everywhere around.

There's grids on every greyed window.

There's no room,

Just for you and your hunting thoughts,

Who are eating every single peace of your dying heart and soul.

You can't escape this living hell...

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this quiet a while ago now annd found it again. While reading it I remembered the hard times in the past. I remembered seeing no hope. But now I'm so happy that these days are over... I wanted to share with you. Remember that, no matter how hard and no matter how hopless all bad experiences and dark days seem, sooner or later they will be over...
