It makes me wonder sometimes

Life makes me wonder sometimes

I sometimes wonder WHY my heart still glitters and gleams

While a hard day of work begins to end

It’s hard to stop and wonder

Why life has decided to keep me alive,

While my heart suffers in silence

I sometimes wonder

Where life will lead me if I just stop for a moment

To feel what my hear feels.

I sometimes wonder

Why the stars shine so brightly

After being neglected and burst into flames

With a smile on their souls.

Why is it so easy for Mother Nature?

To be so beautiful in the worst ways.

I wonder why it is I see a heartless monster

When looking in mirrors, while others See differently

I wonder why

The truth I see, are the lies others hear

As I speak my words

I wonder why doors close while windows open,

Is it because the windows are the struggles we go through.

Cutting out the bars to see the beauty behind them

What is the real beauty behind those bars?

More rooms of struggle

Or the success of a new struggle

As the doors, walls and windows build themselves up again?

More struggles?

Why not more beauty

So our souls of smiles may shine as those bursting stars?

More words?

Why not truth behind the mirrors we seek to find beauty?

Life makes me wonder sometimes
