Portrait of The Omnipotent Protector

Nile Blue

As it witnesses omnipresently,

And identifies omnisciently,

Any and all such persons and being,

Who have been, will and are,

Orchestrating and or executing,

Deliberate disturbance, distress, harassment or intimidation,

Persecution and threat of violence,

Or its perpetration,

Towards my self, my friends or my family,

My loved ones, my race or my community,

I know with all faith,

That the universe will omnipotently,

Manifest it such as that,

All involved and inclined so malevolently,

Will be swiftly subjected if not eventually,

To all and anything,

That their hearts and minds may be so biased as to believe for sure,

Or that which their deeds’ intentions,

Cause I, you or we,

To suffer or endure.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Note* I wrote this in motionless mesmerisation at the (relatively) swift sentencing of the savage of law - and glutton of disorder ....Derek Chauvin, for his obesely brutal, and neanderthally bovine-like murder of George Floyd. I wrote this in deluded disbelief, at the disgraceful delay in justice for Doreen Lawrence over the murder of her teenage son Stephen - at the hands of humanely and intellectually impoverished racist reprobates... I wrote this in bewildered stupor, over the prolonged procrastination of any attempt to redress, or provide accountability for the murder of Breonna Taylor... and more..
