Warmth Amongst The Stars

Eravaash

Warmth amongst the stars

Flowing free, high into the clouds

"Release", I mutter, a whisper in the wind

Carried away towards unreaching woes

Heavens light glows clear

Finally, free from mortal toil

Rest, I desired, at long last

A liberation from heartaches, neverending

Should a feather falls as I shed my wings

Perhaps on your lap as you mourn

I ask you don't cry, but remember me

I know I've gone so far

I'm always there, in memory

And my love will remain the same

So please, do not waste precious tears

I promise I will be okay

I'm not alone, I swear

I'll always have you

And while, in ground, I'm decrepit and cold

Above high, there is warmth amongst the stars

we never know, and we assume too much
in our not knowing, ease of hypothetical
and we intrust in fate, too little
    when it was fate
    that gave us existence
    in the first place..
so yeah, we can't be sure
    but we can hope
and cope, as best we can
    if that means keeping close
    that which we've lost
    from material, reality
    then so be it
its all meaningful, in this our only promised
    journey..
    thanks for sharing
a tender touch, to your subtle pen
and I relate to that unspoken
    longing and pain
    stay Strong!
