You thought I couldn't live without you. You thought I couldn't make it on my own.
You tried to tear me down every way you could, body, mind and soul.
You said that you would kill me if I didn't do anything and everything just for you.
I could've sold my soul to the devil's muse and it still wouldn't be enough for you to abuse.
But this fire in my soul,
It kept me alive don't you know.
Everything inside of me, this fiery rage, finally broke free, broke free from your cage.
You fueled up the fire and it only showed you what I'm made of. The greatest weapon you used on me was love.
People like you think love is weakness, but my love for my son is what made me ruthless.
Now I will use every bruise you left on my heart,
To fuel my fire and give my life a brand new start.
See, this fire in my soul, it's keeping me alive don't you know.
