Pulled into Darkness then back into the Light

So many dreams now I have at night
I was pulled into darkness then back into the light
It was such a weird feeling
I was spending time in both 
The darkness was a desolate wasteland 
While the light was filled with party poppers and fireworks
I'm not sure what the future has planned
But I ended up staying in the light and feeling alright
